Oracle Configuration Manager (OCM) - also referred to as the Support Agent.

OCM collects diagnostics information every 24 hours and upload it to Metalink. Oracle Support can then analyze the data and send notifications/ warnings, etc. to the DBA. When you log a call, the data RDA will already be available and you do not have to upload it again.


Configuration Support Manager is provided to Oracle customers free of charge as part of their annual Premier Support contract.
