Hi All,

I need to know how to implement interMedia Text.
Whether any plugin is needed or whether it is free.
If it is comes with the development license itself.
How to use and how to implement it.
I need step by step procedure to implement.

Hi,

It is included in both standard and enterprise editions of the data server - no xtra charge. The name is Oracle Text from 9i on (part of interMedia in 8i). Just select Oracle Text during db creation and you'll get a schema called CTXSYS. This is the Oracle Text schema.

As for step-by-step, that all depends on what you are wanting to do with it. Getting it is installed is easy...just select it. Using it takes some research. Look at the docs available on OTN for more details. There's too much to post in a forum.
