If you know how to debug a program in any of the unix OS, debugging a Pro C file is the same. Set some break points that use the function defined in the Pro C file.
Compile it with the debug option and use a debugger tool to debug.

It is believed to use the "IBM debugger" Now that you have when you use the "AIX"
If you want to use together also "Rational tool" Maybe
It will be helpful if you look at it and looking for a command "irmtdbgc"
