I AM USING ORACLE 9I REPORT ,I WANT TO SAVE THE REPORT IN EXCEL FILE DIRECTLY,ON BUTTON CLICK.

HELLO,
I am working on developer 2000 oracle report,i want to save the report in excel file on just a click of an button,
i am unable to find solution for that ..i also use sppoling concept but it didn't work.

That information is not enough to know the issue. What exactly you did to spool the data? When you say excel do you mean a CSV or a real excel file?
