Hello Experts,

Every time interconnect IP ping failed between RAC servers,CRS causing reboot to the server. As documented,it is of 3 sec. Can we alter this setting to increase the ping failed (private IP) by more than 3secs. Or any suggestion to avoid server.

Also please correct me if i'm woring with the concept.

Thanks.

The default is 30s, not 3s. So someone has changed it already. Check or change it with
crsctl get css misscount
crsctl set css misscount 30

It is a brave man who adjusts this parameter. I hope you know what you are doing Confused

Hello John,

Thanks for your update.

I have tried to check css miscount but not finding the appropriate result. Please give your view to the result.

$$ pwd
/u01/crs/oracle/bin
$ ./crsctl query crs activeversion
CRS active version on the cluster is [10.2.0.3.0]
$ ./crsctl get css misscount
Configuration parameter misscount is not defined.

Thanks

That means that it is on default, which is 30s, and has not been changed. You said
Quote:
As documented,it is of 3 sec.

which is wrong. What's the problem? Are you getting node evictions?
