I am a BizTalk developer, but I want to learn Oracle BPEL, Web logic application, JDeveloper Suite for deploying EAI applications.

Here is my understanding, BPEL is part of SOA (J Develope). I can create my BPEL project in J Developer and deploy it in BPEL PM Server. Please correct me if I am missing anything in above steps.

If my above step is correct, can you please answer following questions.

(1) where i will use web logic server?
(2) Can you tell me, how i can deploy my application (BPEL) to BPEL PM Server?

Can you please guide, if i am missing anything and i need to take care.

I am sorry, if i am messing anything.

Regards,
Sushil

1. Web logic Server is a Middle tier .
Web logic server is used deploy the webapplication like oracle forms reports etc.
Oracle is realising Weblogic server instead of oracle application server.

2.Soa BPEL.

After you developed your bpel process you can deploy it bpel server by two ways .

1. Command prompt by using ant in linux obant in windows o/s.

2. By jdeveloper also you deploy the bpel process. Right click your BPEL project and go to deploy and select the integration server .
